moving bag

everything you own in a moving bag to the left
- can wear as a backpack
- stronger than cardboard
- waterproof
- reusable for under-bed storage or spare storage when traveling
- pro-tip: get clear ones. i have not bought a clear one myself so i can’t recommend brands, but i’m sure the llms can.
earplugs
silence is golden. these are more soundproof than the standard ones (they’re bigger in size, but aren’t painful to wear). i’ve also tried the moldable putty ones and they are pretty effective, but feel weirder.
eye mask
bright lights are gauche. this one’s the best in terms of cooling feel, accommodating noses (if you have one) and softness. especially good on flights.
bedsheets
cool is cool. i think the right sheets make a v big difference to sleep enjoyment. my favorites are hotel sheets. apparently the nice ones are made of “cotton percale”. i quite like these ones. just be warned: the pillowcases DO NOT HAVE ENVELOPE FLAPS. bizarre, i know.
light blankets
if you are incapable of sleeping without a sheet and find top sheets a little too thin, light cotton dohars are the best. but since you probably can’t fly to jaipur at the drop of a hat or don’t want to spend $$$ on imports, these waffle blankets are pretty good.
bed cooling systems
this one is sort of wack but apparently you can buy a machine that blows cold air inside your bed. i tried it once and it was pretty nice (the brand was bedjet).
